Palm Island Resort - All-inclusive

Palm Island is perfect for travelers who want to experience  private island paradise with relaxed upscale atmosphere and scenic backdrops.

Location - Palm Island, located in the Grenadines island chain, is its own 135 acre island located at the end of the Winward Island group within the Eastern Caribbean. Palm Island is reached by a 10 minute boat ride via the resorts transport launch from Union Island. Union Island Airport (UNI) is reached by daily flights from Barbados (BGI) via Mustique Airways or SVG Air. (The roundtrip inter-island flights and Palm Island boat transfer ($400 per person) are automatically booked as part of your package and are half price for stays of 7 nights or longer, contact DML for further details. Also note the latest arrival time to Barbados is 3pm, otherwise overnight stay in Barbados will be required).

Atmosphere - Peace and tranquility are the primary themes of the resort. Primarily couples but children are allowed during non-peak months. Minimum guest age of 16 during the peak season.

Layout & design - Palm Island is 100 acres reachable only by boat. The primary resort area is mostly flat with very minimal step climbing. Some accommodations located in elevated cliff areas. Just 43 rooms, suites, and cottages.

Accommodations:
All rooms/suites/villas have deck including 2 rocking chairs, table and hammock with most overlooking the sea. All rooms air-conditioned and have mini-fridge stocked with complimentary beverages, cotten bathrobes, iron, safe, hair dryer. Note there are no TV's in the rooms, lofts, and suites - resort common TV lounge available with satellelite TV.

Palm View Room - Total of 8 rooms available located in 4 buildings. All rooms 450 sq ft and feature peaked roofs with exposed beams, celing fans, and louvered windows to allow breezes into room. King size bed with canopy and pull-out bed. Bathroom with deep soaking tub and separate shower. Views of swimming pool or the beach. Max 3 adults.

Beachfront Room - Similar to the Palm View Room but instead have beachfront views. Shower only and no pull-out bed. Max 2 adults.

Island Lofts - 5 units perched above ground upon stilts. 3 lofts located in the garden area, but have ocean views along with queen beds, max 3 adults or 2 adults / 2 children. 2 lofts directly on the beach with king bed, max 2 adults. All lofts 514 sq ft and have both bathtub and separate shower. Otherwise similar in architecture design to to the Palm View Room with the peaked roofs and louvered windows.

Plantation Suites - Total of 4 suites in 1 building with 2 upstairs and 2 on ground floor. 560 sq ft with 2 queen beds, max 3 adults or 2 adults / 2 children. Ocean or garden views. Rattan furnishings and separate sitting area.

Seagrape Suites - Same as Plantation Suites but with 4 units located directly on the beach. In addition these units instead have 2 king beds and double showers (no bathtub). Max 3 adults or 2 adults / 2 children.

Southern Cross Villa - 4000 sq ft villa is located on elevated cliff with 4 decks offering panoramic views. 2 bedrooms, each with a marble bathroom and walk-in shower. Open air villa also has private infinity edge swimming pool. Tiled dining terrace and the villa is stocked with beverages and some food items. Max 4 adults.

The Seafeather - 4000 sq ft villa has 3 bedrooms and is located on northern shores. Villa is supplied with a golf cart. Large living room and entertainment deck at water's edge. Villa is stocked with beverages and some food items. Max 6 adults.

Dining - Palm Island Resort has two restaurants. Royal Palm Restaurant is open for all meals and features ocean views and sounds. Dinner features internation cuisine enhanced by fresh island ingredients and culinary styles. Also available is Sunset Grill which is located directly on the sands and serves lunch & dinner. Resort has a weekly management cocktail party and live music most evenings. Private romantic secluded beach lunch also available for additional cost. Evening dress attire allows dress shorts or stylish jeans, shoes or dress sandals, short or long sleeve shirts with sleeves, no t-shirts.

Activities & Entertainment - Fresh water swimming pool with waterfall, five beaches. Canuan Dive Center available with PADI & NAUI certified instructors, classes, equipment rental & dive packages available. Complimentary snorkeling, catamaran hobiecat sailing, kayaks, and windsurfing. Land sports include tennis, 9-hole pitch & put golf course, croquet, table tennis, and shuffleboard. Complimentary fitness room with Cybex & Pro-Form cardio equipment, free weights, and yoga mats. Explore the island by foot or bike including 3 nature & hiking trails with views of the Grenadine archipelago. Most nights have some form of live entertaiment. Wednesday night Manager & Guest Cocktail Party and BBQ buffet on the beach with live music. Saturday Caribbean Night dinner and big drum dancing.
