ROCKHOUSE HOTEL

Rockhouse is a hip boutique hotel stretching across the cliffs of Pristine Cove in Negril. Thatched roofed villas with private sun bathing decks are nestled in tropical lush gardens. The resort boasts a 60 foot cliff top horizon pool, a laid back atmosphere, and a restaurant serving "new Jamaican cuisine" on a balcony suspended directly over the water. Ladders and stairs carved into the rock lead down to easy water access for swimming and snorkelling on the reef.

Spa body and beauty treatments are available in your room or in our cliff-side spa cabana, and yoga classes are offered daily in our newly built yoga room. The Rockhouse Boutique offers a thoughtful collection of personal amenities, clothing and local products and produce. Architecturally designed and newly renovated the Rockhouse is a stylish place to chill out. Rockhouse is located on the cliffs, two and a half miles west from Negril town on Negril’s West End Road. The hotel forms the western most point of Jamaica - the best spot for sunsets. The closest major international airport is Montego Bay, just over an hour away.

Rockhouse Restaurant - New Jamaican
Blending of cultures to create an epicurian delight with a lighter, modern interpretation of classic Jamaican cooking designed to enhance your island experience, yet remain accessible to those not familiar with Caribbean food. Dress code is barefoot dining.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Rockhouse has thirty-four air-conditioned rooms providing all the comforts of a boutique hotel in a natural Jamaican environment. Eight Premium Villas, Twelve Villas, five Studios and nine Standard rooms are built from timber, stone and thatch and designed to exist in harmony with the jungle-like garden and volcanic rock of the Hotel’s eight acres.

Villas
All the villas are all individual thatch roofed cottages with spacious, wrap around, private terraces and sliding glass doors providing great vistas of Pristine Cove.  They also all have private, enclosed, outdoor showers open to the skies. The premium villas are newly constructed and oversized with westward, sunset views from their cliff edge (Villas # 1 - 7). The regular villas are also situated directly over the water on the cliffs edge. Four of the regular villas have lofts with an additional double bed that can accommodate up to 4 people. The premium villas can accommodate up to 3 people.

Studios
The studios rooms are more traditional style hotel rooms, being grouped together, with each having a balcony that provides water views. They also have private, enclosed, outdoor showers. All studio rooms are double rooms with queen size beds and accommodate two people.

Standard Rooms
The standard rooms are similar to the studio rooms but have balcony's that provide garden views. They are also grouped together and are double rooms with queen size beds. They can be set up to accommodate three or four people by adding a twin or bunk bed.

All Rooms
All rooms have air-conditioning, ceiling fans, room safes, mini bars, dressing area and indoor bathrooms. Furniture, including four posted queen size beds with muslin netting, is architecturally designed and built from dressed and polished local timbers.

RATES

These rates are effective April 15, 2007 and are for the current seasons and are subject to change.

Rates are quoted in US dollars per room per night. A 10% Service Charge and a 8.25% General Consumption Tax (GCT) is also payable.

Children 13 and older are welcome at Rockhouse. Being located on the cliffs, it is a dangerous location for younger guests. At the Rockhouse we do not guarantee specific rooms.

In order to finalize your booking a credit card is required to guarantee the reservation. Rooms are not held without a guarantee. A three-night deposit, or the length of your stay if it is shorter than 3 nights, is required. Your card will be charged for the deposit at the time of making the booking. If a room is canceled prior to fourteen days to arrival there is a $25 handling charge. Alternatively, if you change your plans prior to fourteen days to arrival, you may move your booking to an alternative date and apply your full deposit to that new date. For late cancellations with fourteen days or less to arrival the full deposit is charged.
