The Inn at English Harbour

The Inn is an intimate and exclusive beachfront hotel on the captivating island of Antigua. It is ideally located on the South West coast, secretly nestled in ten acres of wooded headland within the Dockyard National park.

The Inn stands guard to the entrance of historic English Harbour and is only 2 minutes from Nelson's Dockyard, one of the most enchanting villages in the Caribbean famous for it's English pubs, restaurants and sites.

Relaxation is definitely the daytime theme here, the swimming pool, non-motorized water sports and nature hikes complemented by rejuvenating spa treatments that include aromatherapy, facials and massages. After dark, the cocktails in the piano bar and alfresco waterside dining, not to mention the regular evening entertainment, all contribute to the low-key, yet sociable ambience. The Inn boasts one of the best restaurants on the island with breathtaking views and a gracious level of service provided by well trained and loyal staff.

The Hotel is a delightfully traditional style inn much loved by old Caribbean "hands". The Inn is a comfortable, modern interpretation of surrounding historical buildings offering 34 elegant and spacious rooms with panoramic sea views and vibrant sunsets. A safe, soft white sand beach provides the natural alternative to the large, freeform infinity edge swimming pool. Delightful gardens offer shade and tranquillity for those in search of peace while the tennis courts and fitness centre are available for the more active.

The Inn has a charming historic ambience and relaxed atmosphere in one of the most picturesque settings in the West Indies. The Inn is situated on a crescent in sheltered Freeman's Bay with a reserved white sand beach and small but lovely private dock. This semi enclosure induces a feeling of privacy and seclusion. Clear emerald blue waters are encompassed by the lush green landscape of the surrounding hills.

ACCOMMODATIONS

The accommodation mix offers the finest in luxurious and stylish junior suites as well as the more traditional cottage style. Guests can choose between Room Only, Bed & Breakfast, Half Board or Full Board basis with waiter service.

The ten hotel rooms are furnished in white rattan with matching curtains and bedspreads in a light blue liberty style. All twenty four suites have Thai style furniture in rich mahagony, with cool Caribbean style lourve and patio doors. Several rooms and suites are interconnect, perfect for family vacations.

All accommodations have a private veranda or terrace and are equipped with the following: cable TV, safe, ceiling fans, hair dryer, telephone, fridge, mini-bar, tea or coffee machine.

Hillside Ocean View Rooms
6 Rooms (300 Sq Ft). Room contains one king bed or two twin beds on request. Features a panoramic oceanview of Freeman's Bay and is furnished in white rattan with matching curtains and bedspread.
Maximum Occupancy: 2 adult or 2 adults with 1 child (12 years or less)

Standard Beachfront Rooms
4 Rooms (360 Sq Ft). Room contains one king size bed or two twin beds on request. Located just steps from the beach with wonderfull views of the Harbour, furnished in white rattan with matching curtains and bedspreads.
Maximum Occupancy: 2 adult or 2 adults with 1 child (12 years or less)

Three tastefully designed buildings that facilitate all twenty four suites located just 60 yards from the beach and swimming pool. Either ground or second floor, some of which inteconnect to the Beachfront Superior Suites.

Beachfront Junior Suite
12 Rooms (460 Sq Ft) with balcony. Room contains a 4 poster queen bed or two twin beds with unobstructed views of the harbour and ocean. Features a large 200 Sg Ft balcony balcony with lounge chairs and is furnished in rich mahogany with a West Indian decor.
Maximum Occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults with 2 children (12 years or less)

Beach Front Superior Suite
4 Rooms (500 Sq Ft). Room contains 4 poster queen size bed or two twin beds with unobstructed views of the harbour and ocean. Slightly larger than the Junior Suite totalling 900 Sg Ft and is furnished in rich mahogany with a West Indian decor.

Beachfront Deluxe Suite
8 Rooms (500 Sq Ft). Room contains a 4 poster king size bed with unobstructed views of the harbour and ocean. Features a large 200 Sg Ft balcony balcony with lounge chairs and is furnished in rich mahogany with a West Indian decor.

In the original hillside building, the famous Terrace Restaurant is an experience in its own right. Serving international cuisine to the highest standards, complemented by an excellent wine list & outstanding service, the Terrace Restaurant has gained a reputation as one of the finest on Antigua. The restaurant opens up onto the terrace and provides a fantastic setting under the stars for a romantic dinner by candlelight. The Stone Bar adjacent the terrace is open from 6pm. During daytime, The Terrace provides the perfect vantage point over the bay to relax with an afternoon cocktail, watching the yachts in the bay with cool tropical breezes filling the air.

The Beach Bar & Restaurant is located right by the beach. Here breakfast, lunch and cocktails are served in a casual and friendly atmosphere throughout the day. A bountiful barbecue is offered to groups.
