Made up of 40 different islands, only eight are still inhabited. Dive, snorkel, stroll, beachcomb, dine, dance, do everything, or do nothing. The 200-mile barrier reef system surrounding the Caicos Islands is 65 miles wide. Here, divers can explore the vibrant marine life with brilliant 200 feet visibility. From late December through April, about 2500 humpback whales pass through the shores of the Turks and Caicos Islands on their annual migration to the Mouchoir Bank, less than 30 miles away. Divers enjoy an amazing underwater concert of the whales' songs! Throughout the year, the deep offshore waters serve as a major transit point for spotted Eagle Rays, Manta Rays and Turtles. Tuna, Wahoo and Blue Marlin use these same rich waters.

Weather: The average temperature ranges between 75 and 85°F. From June to October, the temperature can reach into the 90's, especially in the late summer months. A constant trade wind keeps the climate at a very comfortable level.
