Weather: Located in the middle of the Leeward Islands, Antigua's weather is ideal with less than 45 inches of rainfall each year, making it the sunniest of the Eastern Caribbean Islands. Temperatures range from the mid-70s in winter to the mid-80s in summer. Annual rainfall averages 45 inches and trade winds are nearly constant. Low humidity year-round. The hurricane season is June 1st to November 30 with peak season mid august to mid October. The last hurricane to hit Antigua was in 1999 and in 50 years there have been only 6 direct hits.
